A little bit about me

My name is Angie and my role is Research Manager overseeing Greater China for Starcom, part of Publicis Groupe.  Just wanted to give you full disclosure!  But even more than being an employee of Starcom – China, I view myself as an info junkie.  This means I love reading, collecting, learning and writing about random facts, figures, stats… And the reason I started this blog is so that I can share all of this with you!

Through my role in research, I’ve been lucky enough to travel throughout China and talk to consumers and see the way they shop and live.  I’ve also conducted extensive quant research and have found great insights.  These, I’m really excited to share with everyone and anyone who will listen!

We’re not trying to hide our research, but are really proud of the work we do.  That’s why when I brought up starting a blog, there were no objections at all.  But what’s even more exciting (for me, at least!) is that I can treat this like my own personal blog and post anything I read about or learn or observe without having to get clearing for it first (yes!). So don’t be surprised if you see a Word of the Day (I love words), or a fun fact (I love fun facts).
